St Madoc Sports Improvement Programme Receives £2000 from Swansea Youth Bank.

After submitting an application to the Swansea Youth Bank, volunteers and staff from the St Madoc Centre have been granted £2000 for sports improvements around the Llanmadoc area.

This work will begin with the construction of an archery area and the training of St Madoc staff in teaching archery safely and confidently. This will involve safety netting and fencing, as well as buying the equipment and bosses for the archery itself.

After the archery area is completed it will be opened up for public use on certain days. We will then expand our horizons and aim to create sports facilities elsewhere in north Gower, once we find funding for them.
