The St Madoc Centre is a charitably run youth camp. Our main purpose is providing disadvantaged and disaffected children and young adults a place to escape their day to day lives and behave like children again, as well as a place to learn new skills and gain experiences which they may not have the opportunity to elsewhere.
Another of our purposes is giving schools, churches and youth groups a place to come and experience the outdoors. Be that through bush craft, wilderness survival techniques or through outdoor team building games.
We hope that whoever comes to the St Madoc Centre leaves having learnt something new, not only about teamwork or survival, but also about themselves.

A lot of the work we do is volunteer based. The size and variety of our site provides
volunteering opportunities for everyone. If your interests lie in conservation or
habitat management then we can cater for you, or if your skills are more orientated
around carpentry or brick-laying then we have the opportunities for you to. Not only
can we provide the place for you to volunteer, if you haven't got the skills that you
think are required to perform a certain task we may be able to give you the expertise
and training to accomplish them.

"The aim of this web site is to tell you everything you want to know about St Madoc. From its history and stunning location to the facilities and costs, from the types of groups that use the site to the health and safety policy.
We know that, even though we have spent ages planning this site, there will still be things that we have forgotten or are not clear. Please do not hesitate to contact me on 01792 386291 or email me. I look forward to hearing from you."
